Te Reo Art Piece

For the Te Reo Art Piece we had to choose a children's picture book that you liked as a child and pick a page from the book that you choose. Then you had to translate the words from the page that you choose into maori words. After you had done that you had to redraw the pictures on that page and you couldn't trace them. The book I choose was called the very hungry caterpillar.

Hokey Pokey

In lockdown I made hokey pokey. The first time I made it the hokey pokey got too hot and burnt. The second time I tried to make it again but that time it stuck to the pot, Finally I got it right! I learnt that straight after you mix in the baking soda you have to pour it into a buttered tray. Also when you are making hokey pokey you have to keep an eye on it when it is boiling to make sure it doesn't burn.

Finding the area

We had to measure three rooms in our house and draw it to scale ( 1m = 2cm ). We found out the my mum and dad's room was the biggest and my room was the smallest. This took longer than I thought it would. I learnt how to find the area of a room, we also measured the beds as well.

LH6 Sports Graph

Today we did a graph on our classes favourite sports. The graph - we play lots of very different sports - which we put LH6's sports in. We made the chart on an app called piktochart.
